After showering and changing, he is wandering around the palace, listening quietly to the gossip from the servants. |

Sara turns and stops by Brice before leaving to go back to thale palace "please Brice... he is my friend, the only real one i have" she says quietly before disappering in a swirl of white smoke
Khar watches the exchange and tenses slightly when Sara leaves. He keeps his gaze on Brice, but watches the door like he might try to make a run for it. |

I was going to pay him for it when i got the money but he wouldnt listen. He sent some bad guys after me. They almost vot me when 'Cess.... uh Princess Sara tried to help. They got her too. They tied our hands and ankles and threw us both in the lake.... the princess, she dont swim to good..." he stopped and looked at his feet, they were bare and mud covered

Just then Sara walked through the barn door, fresh from the shower and with clean clothes and a bundle under one arm "dont lie to him Khar. He may be able to help you. You hate being alone. If he takes you on his ship, you could get the family you always wanted." Khar became alarmed "dont send me away. I wont steal again i swear!" Sara sighed "relax Ka. Here go take a shower and change" she handed him the bundle "but 'cess..." sara got a stubborn look on her face, much like her mother "go take a shower Khar, NOW" Khar took the bundle and shuffled off to the back of the barn where there were some showers for the stable hands. She goes and sits next to Brice "will you help him?" |
