Sara gives him a small smile "Khar is staying in the apartment next to yours. I made sure he understood everything" she said as she picked at more grass

 Sara was quiet for a few moments before taking a deep breath and launching into the story that was Khar "you know i am tterrified of the water since i almost drowned when i was 6. About e years ago i was in town, i was messing around with some of the kids, thought i was tough and somehow the playing around turned into actual fighting and i was getting my ass handed to me really, they picked me up and tossed me in the lake, they didnt know i cant swim, next thing i know Khar is dragging me out of the lake and the kids had all scattered. He brought me home and wouldn't leave me until he knew i was alright. " a small smile appears on her face at the memory "when mom asked him what he wanted as a reward for saving my life he gave her the strangest look and said 'no reward' when he came back to visit i asked him why he did it if not for a reward and he said 'it was the right thing to do'. Every 'friend' i have ever had, has wanted something from me because i am the Princess. But not Khar."

 Brice listens quietly as she tells her story

 Sara was quiet for a little bit and then cleared her throat "did he tell you why he stole the chick?"

 Aye he did....

 Safa knew Brice was waiting for the last piece, the thing she promised Khar. She stopped picking grass and took a slightly shaky breath, just thinking about it made her nervous "for about the last year or so, Khar has gotten a bug up his ass, butt" she quickly corrected "about me learning how to swim. I have either avoided it or down right told him no. I guess the jerk finally figured out a way to get me to agree"

 he smirks "learning to swim isnt a bad thing..Im actually surprised that Uncle James didnt insist on it....and if you would like, I can help you with some lessons..."

 Sara shook her head "he tried, they both did. They ended up having to remodel the pool area of the gym"

 Sara swollowed hard, her heartbeat kicked up a couple notches just thinking about it, a slight tremor showed in her hands "no...i uh" she swallowed and shook her head you dont..." she bolted up from her sitting position, a look of panic in her face "i have to go" she turned and tried to run away

 Brice gently takes her by the arm before she can run away "what happened that caused you to be this scared, kiddo?"
